Happy Fourth!

Nothing better than celebrating the independence of my first home in my second home! Here's a glimpse of our 4th of July festivities on the other side of the world!
Hannah showing off her patriotism!
Sara!

Playing games while the burgers cooked

Chips, burgers, watermelon, pop, and veggies with dip....oh so good!

Even the sidewalk by the Inn was all decked out for the holiday!

Playing "Uno"!

Jerak

There were about 40 of us total--visitors, interns, staff, and older SFCV kids--joining in the feast!
Sara and her two new buddies...Caleb and Luke!

Elizabeth

Mama Jewel presiding over the food table
Surrounded by food and people, Seth was in heaven!
Sara, me, and Linda

Melissa, Becca, and Hannah

Pam Baker, Mama Jewel, Hayden, and Wendy

Ling-Ling

Hayden
Me and my "Jie Jie" (big sister...she is just barely older than me!)...Stacey!

Playing football after the meal

They did "old guys" versus the kids...it was so fun to watch!

The patio...so beautiful with the lights and flags

Hayden and Stevie

Becca and Hannah

We girls opted out of the football game, preferring to sit and watch on the office steps!

Jerak

Philip and Grady. These two plus Elizabeth were racing in their wheelchairs around the office against Jerak and Joseph on bikes. I couldn't believe how quickly they could round the corners!

Hayden

Wendy

Let the fireworks show begin! SFCV founder Tim Baker was a true pyrotechnic, delighting us all with explosives that were totally banned in America but available right across the street here!

Grady, Hannah, and Joseph
Watching the show!

Philip dodging the "shrapnel" from the fireworks! (several people got hit with ash and stuff as it came down)

Time for sparklers!

Happy Independence Day, America!!
